    New Student Registration

Please check back closer to January for registration dates.

Kindergarten registration for children who will turn age five on or before September 1, 2021 opens towards the end of January.  Please note that Las Lomitas School District does not offer Transitional Kindergarten.

Registration for new 1st through 3rd students for the 2021-2022 school year will also start towards the end of January. There are four (4) steps to the registration process:

    Step #1

    Step #2

Upon receipt of the items listed above, you will be given access to InfoSnap, our on-line registration system, where you will continue the registration process.

    Step #3

Upon completion of the on-line registration, you MUST bring a hard copy of these forms to the school office to FINALIZE registration.  Your child will not be registered at Las Lomitas until we receive your on-line registration papers.

Please Note: You will not receive a class placement letter unless all state required immunizations have been met.

    Step #4

You will be asked to confirm registration information and complete compliance documents in August 2020.  You will be notified when to do so.

Currently, Las Lomitas is implementing a new prototype schedule for the 2019-2020 school year where there are no sessions. More information on the 2020-2021 school year will posted as it becomes available.

    Our Principal & Assistant Principal

    Kristen Fielding, Assistant Principal
August 2020 Dear Las Lomitas Community, This year will be one like no other here at Las Lomitas!  Every day I see demonstrations of knowledge and acts of kindness amongst our community that put me in awe. This will be my third year as assistant principal of Las Lomitas and I am honored to be part of such an amazing group of educators, parents and students.  A bit about me: I grew up in interior Alaska.  After graduating from high school, I moved to the “Lower 48,” first to Minnesota then to Oregon.  I attended college and graduate school in Portland, OR and started my teaching career there.  My husband and I moved to the Bay Area in 2007. We love traveling, skiing and riding bikes with our two daughters, ages 6 and 9.  Our daughters and our Labrador retriever, Charlie, keep our lives filled with activity, laughter and joy! Prior to becoming an administrator, I taught grades 2, 3, and 4.  I also served as a reading support teacher and Project Based Learning coach. I have always enjoyed my work here at Las Lomitas.  This year, the tenacity and innovation everyone here shows makes me even more appreciative of our community.  We are all navigating new challenges with little to no reference points by which to measure our efforts.  Some constant benefits I find come from giving students, teachers, families and myself grace and patience.  Sometimes what we do will work.  Other times we will fail.  Most often, it will be a combination of these results and we use our experiences to plan and move forward.  During this time and always, please be patient with everyone, especially yourselves! While we cannot be together in person much these days, our need for one another never diminishes.  Our Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) has an online directory and weekly newsletter for which I highly recommend each family to sign up. You may do so on the PTA website, https://laslomitaspta.org/directory/  Once enrolled in the directory, families have access to all other enrollees’ contact information and the weekly newsletter, the Lion’s Roar, provides information about PTA activities and other school/community efforts.  Our school’s Parent & Student Handbook provides general school information as well as resources and ways to connect with staff and school/community groups.   Please feel free to contact me any time too.  I look forward to working with all of you to make this year wonderful for our students! Kind Regards,Ms. Kristen Fielding, Assistant Principalkfielding@llesd.org
